Oregon Black Pioneers has been a terrific partner. They helped us assemble an educational exhibit, participated in a terrific film screening, and facilitated multiple conversations about Oregon's Black History. OBP was essential in collaborating on a historical marker honoring the Shipley Homestead. I give them my highest recommendation!
– The Honorable Eric Niemann, Former Mayor, Philomath, Oregon
We have partnered with Oregon Black Pioneers on numerous projects celebrating Black history along our coastline. From developing a Black History Toolkit to collaborating on social media campaigns and honoring figures like Louis Southworth, OBP has consistently delivered timely and creative contributions. Their professionalism and dedication have greatly enriched our ability to share diverse narratives with partners and visitors, enhancing the cultural experience of our region.

Working with the folks at Oregon Black Pioneers is always a treat. From their summer Blaxploitation series to a screening of Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce in DREAMGIRLS, they bring a joyful energy and expertise that speaks to the films they're presenting while relaying the work and its significance back to the experiences of Black Oregonians and their history in this land.
