Oregon Black Pioneers’ Blaxploitation Film Series ended with an excellent turnout, a little bit of history and a lot of fun! We want to thank The Hollywood Theatre and everyone who showed up to celebrate this uniquely African American genre. We were able to showcase some rarely presented films, like Cotton Comes to Harlem and Cleopatra Jones, as well as one of the best-known blockbusters of the genre, Super Fly.
